This guitar has been recently serviced and is in excellent playing condition.

Dia SG-Style Electric Guitar is most likely made in Japan in the early–mid 1970s. These instruments were produced during the well-known “lawsuit era” and sold under various brand names for different markets.

This guitar features a classic double-cutaway SG body inspired by the Gibson SG, finished in a beautiful brown/cherry tone. It is equipped with three humbucker pickups, offering a wide range of tonal options, and a vintage-style vibrola tremolo system that adds to its distinctive look and feel.

Key Features:

  • Made in Japan (circa 1970s)
  • Dia-branded (import/stencil brand)
  • SG-style double cutaway body
  • 3 humbucker pickups
  • Vibrola-style tremolo unit
  • 4 control knobs + selector switch
  • Rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays

The guitar is in good vintage condition with normal signs of age and use (minor cosmetic wear as expected for its age). All hardware appears original. Electronics are functional, though like many guitars of this era, they may benefit from cleaning or servicing.

This is a great player’s guitar with real vintage character, or an excellent platform for upgrades and modifications. Not a high-end collector’s piece, but a cool and unique instrument from the golden age of Japanese guitar manufacturing.
