Ibanez EHB1505MS-PLF Bass Workshop
Introducing the Ibanez EHB1505MS-PLF Bass Workshop, the epitome of luxury and sophistication in the world of bass guitars. Crafted with exotic woods and adorned with stunning fan frets, this 5-string bass is sure to turn heads on stage. But it's not just about looks - the materials used also have a profound impact on the sound. Compared to the traditional bass models made with alder bodies, the EHB1500 series boasts a darker and smoother tone. Its attack is also softer than its maple fretboard sibling.
The EHB series of Electric Headless Basses are at the forefront of modern electric bass guitars, and the EHB1505MS-PLF is no exception. The name itself is an abbreviation for "Electric Headless Bass," and many of these basses are designed with a multi-scale style, where the scale length is longer on the lower strings, resulting in greater string tension.
But what sets the EHB series apart is its focus on ergonomics and comfort. The headless design not only looks sleek, but it also balances the weight distribution of the bass, making it comfortable to play whether sitting or standing. The body is contoured at strategic points and has a beveled back, further enhancing its comfort factor.
The EHB5 nine-piece neck (made of panga panga and walnut) is reinforced with graphite rods, while the curly poplar top and African mahogany body are carefully selected for their light weight. The panga panga fretboard features off-set pearl dots and 24 medium-sized steel frets, with a scale length of 33"-35" (838mm-889mm). The Nordstrand Custom Big Split pickups and Vari-mid III 3-band EQ with active/passive switch and tone treble potentiometer offer endless tonal possibilities. The MR5HS bridge (with 18mm string spacing) and black PLF/pacific blue burst flat hardware complete this masterpiece.
Experience the ultimate in comfort, style, and sound with the Ibanez EHB1505MS-PLF Bass Workshop.
